Rhode Island Funds READY 4 OFFSHORE WIND Initiative
The READY 4 OFFSHORE WIND Initiative is designed to create opportunities for Rhode Island businesses to enter the offshore wind industry. The program will educate businesses about the supply chain and project development from foundation to blade construction. This initiative is a part of the Business Network for Offshore Wind and Real Jobs Rhode Island program. This was made possible by an implementation grant through Rhode Island’s Department of Labor and Training. The department recently announced 12 new partnerships and $1.6 million in grants funding to expand the Real Jobs Rhode Island program.
