Regional Data Sharing Through new Southeast Sand Resources Site
Sand is an important resource along the southeast coast, bringing vast economic benefits to coastal communities, and provides critical habitat for terrestrial and marine organisms. The Southeast Coastal Ocean Observing Regional Association through The Nature Conservancy brought partners together to foster collaboration to develop a Regional Sand Management Website, a collection of data, tools, and information to enable easier access by coastal resource managers. The site features OceanReports as one tool in this suite of resources.
