Offshore Renewable Energy Interactions with the Environment: Lessons Learned from Europe
Join the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography, Rhode Island Sea Grant, the Coastal Resources Center, and the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea Working Group on Marine Benthal Renewable Energy Developments to hear lessons learned from researchers studying interactions between offshore renewable energy and the environment. The symposium will focus on key issues identified by Rhode Islanders regarding issues from construction and operations of offshore wind farms and suggestions on how to minimize impacts. The event will be held on April 24, 2020.
