Icebreaker Wind Farm Receives Federal Grant Extension
Cleveland’s Icebreaker wind farm received some good news as they were awarded a grant extension from the Department of Energy. This gives the development company, LEEDCo, at least another year to find the necessary funding to make the project a reality. Icebreaker wind farm is a planned six-turbine, 20.7 megawatt wind farm. If completed, it would be the first freshwater wind farm in North America.
