Bay State Wind Receives Federal Approval for Offshore Wind
Bay State Wind received approval from the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management for its site assessment plan for an offshore wind project off the coast of Massachusetts. They are the first company to receive federal approval for a site assessment plan. The plan is for a site approximately 300 square miles in size and 15-25 miles off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard.
